自分の身長が170cmですが、腰くらいまでふかふかの雪が積もっていました。

ここはどこかというと、湯西川の奥に進んだ「湯西川水の郷」なんですが、すでにこの時点で積雪がすごいですね。
ここからさらに数キロ奥に進むと本物の湯西川温泉があり、冬季でも旅館やホテルは営業しています。
This is the “Yunishigawa Mizu no Sato” (Yunishigawa Water Village), which is located deep inside Yunishigawa, but there is already a lot of snow at this point.
A few kilometers further inland from here is the real Yunishigawa Onsen, where inns and hotels are open for business even in winter.
屋根からは積もった雪が落ちてきて、下にたくさん重なっています。

わざと、埋まってみました。
雪は本当にふかふかで気持ち良いです。
まだ軽い雪なので助かりますが、これが湿った重い雪だと大変ですね。

雪は多いですが、温泉はこんこんと沸いていますから、温まりに来ると良いと思います。

湯西川ダム / Yunishigawa Dam
いつきても、足が竦みます。
行った時は思ったより風がなくて、ただ深々の雪が降り続いていました。
Every time I go there, I cower.
When I went there, there was less wind than I expected, and it was just deep snowing.
こうしてみると、雪のダム湖も綺麗で良い景色ですね。
ただ、寒いです。（-5度）
In this way, the snowy dam lake is beautiful and a nice sight.
